I'm feeling nervous about calling, what is therapy like?
I understand that making that first call can be scary and intimidating. Whether you’ve had experience in therapy or it’s your first time, it can be tough to start the process or know what to expect. Therapy is going to be a little different for everyone. Some people need a safe space to talk. Some need to build skills, like anger management or mindfulness or parenting. Let’s work together to create an individual experience to meet your personal needs.

What does children's therapy entail?
Children’s therapy will look a little different than therapy with adults. Children, especially younger children, don’t necessarily have the language to communicate their needs and feelings the way adults can. Children speak in the language of play. Play therapy has been shown to help children express their inner thoughts, process experiences, and regulate their emotions. I encourage you to check out the video below for more details about what is involved in play therapy. I am more than happy answer any questions you have during our consultation.
